Publisher Raw Fury has released a demo for its upcoming Silent Hill-inspired survival horror game, Post Trauma. The demo is available as part of Steam Next Fest and will be playable until March 3.
Demo Details
As the developers noted, the demo represents the beginning of the game. Players will have the opportunity to evaluate puzzles, atmosphere, and possibly some elements of the combat system.
Game Overview
In Post Trauma, gamers take on the role of a 57-year-old man named Roman, who wakes up in a strange and hostile place and tries to find his way home to his family. The game’s narrative unfolds through Roman’s perspective, adding a layer of emotional depth to the horror experience.
Gameplay Mechanics
Players will have to solve puzzles and riddles using information gathered while exploring the world around them. The game will also feature first-person scenes, allowing for a more immersive experience.
Indie Game Expectations
Since this is an indie game, don’t expect anything on the level of a SH2 remake. The animation looks a bit rough, and the main character model seems unpolished. However, for an indie title, the game looks pretty impressive.
Additional Features
Despite its rough edges, Post Trauma offers a unique take on survival horror with its atmospheric design and challenging puzzles. The game emphasizes psychological horror, drawing players into Roman’s unsettling journey.
