A demo of “Phantom Line,” a new cooperative first-person shooter developed by former Bioshock and Cyberpunk 2077 developers, is now available on Steam. The game, reminiscent of the early 2024 hit “Helldivers 2,” features a darker and more serious atmosphere akin to “STALKER.”
Set in Eastern Europe within a region known as the Iron Corridor, “Phantom Line” takes place in the aftermath of a nuclear war, where mysterious anomalies and monsters have emerged. Players assume the role of operatives working for Mortfield Industries, tasked with investigating these strange occurrences.
The game’s standout feature is the H.U.S.K system, which allows players to switch between different bodies. This system can be used to distract enemies, conduct reconnaissance, and eliminate opponents. “Phantom Line” supports both solo play and cooperative play with teams of up to four players.
Between missions, players return to a base located on an old ship. Here, they can upgrade their gear, customize their H.U.S.K bodies, and prepare for their next expeditions using the resources collected during their forays.
