Yoichi Erikakawa Steps Down as Koei Tecmo CEO After 45 Years

According to VGC, Koei Tecmo CEO Yoichi Erikakawa is stepping down after more than 45 years at the helm of the company. He founded Koei in 1978 with his wife Keiko Erikakawa and continued to lead the company even after its merger with Tecmo in 2009.

Effective April 1, Hisashi Koinuma, who joined the company in 1994 as a programmer and worked on the Samurai Warriors and Dynasty Warriors series, will become the new CEO of Koei Tecmo.
