HoYoverse Studios has released an in-depth video analyzing the skills of Aglaya, the new five-star heroine in Honkai: Star Rail. Joining host Sovastyan in the studio is Tribby, marking the first time viewers get to know all three.
Aglaya is the debut event heroine of the new Path of Memory, and she’s poised to be the squad’s main damage dealer. Her abilities are centered around dealing damage in synergy with her summoned companion, the Seamstress, making her heavily reliant on Superpower and Speed. Aglaya’s element is electricity.
Aglaya’s skill summons the Seamstress, granting her immediate action. If the Seamstress is already on the field, the skill restores her health. In the Seamstress’s presence, Aglaya’s normal attacks apply the Binding Thread status to enemies, marking them as priority targets for the Seamstress. Each attack on these targets boosts the Seamstress’s Speed. Aglaya herself deals extra damage to targets with the Binding Thread status.
Aglaya’s technique allows players to engage enemies and enter battle with the Seamstress, dealing damage and restoring energy.
When using her Super Ability, Aglaya and the Seamstress act together, combining their Speed, and their attacks deal damage to both the target and surrounding enemies. Damage also gets a bonus based on Speed. If the Seamstress is not present when the Super Ability is activated, she is summoned. Once the special state ends, the Seamstress self-destructs and must be summoned again.
Aglaya is set to join the game on February 5th, during the second half of version 3.0.
