Novaq, a club founded by Dauren “AdreN” Kystaubayev, has announced its CS2 roster, focusing on nurturing young Kazakhstani players. The team will be led by Sanjar “neaLaN” Ishakov, with AdreN himself acting as the coach.
Vision for the Project
In an interview with HLTV, AdreN shared the vision behind this project, which is currently funded entirely out of his own pocket. His goal is to take a team of young players who “want to develop and learn something new” and help them “take the next step.”
“I realized they needed to take the next step, which was to get a bootcamp and someone who could give them what they were missing,” AdreN explained.
The Role of neaLaN
For the role of team leader, AdreN chose neaLaN, an experienced player who has competed in two majors: with Syman in 2019 and with Evil Geniuses in 2022. Most of his international LAN experience comes from his performances for Evil Geniuses and GamerLegion in 2022–2023.
“In all of this, I was missing an experienced captain who had already played on the big stage, and neaLaN was the perfect fit for me,” AdreN stated.
Roster Details
The rest of the Novaq roster is composed of players under the age of 20 who previously played for AVANGAR and TÓR, winning regional tournaments and the CCT qualifiers in 2023–2024.

- Sanjar “neaLaN” Ishakov: Team Captain
